A bit of a disappointing season by the boys. Unlucky not to make the finals with only 5 wins for the season. The boys kept their heads and although not making the finals it was a fun year. Thanks to Kuru for managing the side and Sam Mason for being the team mascot. THE TEAM Promod Chandur (captain): Promod was the captain chosen by the boys and he did a great job. Promod had a slow start to the season but picked up his batting and bowling late in the year with a 60 run knock in the last game. Kartik Yadau: (vice captain) won the bowling with great figures of 22 wickets and 180 runs with an 8.18 average. Well done on your efforts. He was the big hitter of the side but unfortunately didn't bat as well as he bowled. Neeraj Joshi (vice captain): won the batting award with 432 runs at an average of 43.2. Neeraj was the backbone of the team. He also made the final 15 in the Under 14 reps. Well done Neeraj. Avinash D'Souza: One of our little boys. His dedication and willingness to take on anything was great for the team. We are hoping to see good things from you next year. Mithran Kathir: had a good season. He was very strong with the bat and a good left-arm swing bowler. Bigger things ahead for him. Thevy Kurumoorthy: won the fielding award with plenty of catches with the gloves. Well done on a good season. Nick Matthews: well what can I say about the team clown who never stops talking. You had a great season with the bat and was our leg spin bowler. Keep up the good work. Chinmae Pathnak: won the encouragement award. He was the smallest boy in the comp playing above his age group. He was a fighter and a battler. Well done Chinmae keep up the good work. Shankes Ramakrishnan: took a lot of catches and had some good bowling patches with 3 LBW's in 2 overs. Also opened the batting when no one else would. A very committed player. David Rowe: David gained confidence with the bat as the year went on scoring his highest score of 45 in the last game of the season. Unlucky not to get a 50 mate. Keep up the good work. Haider Seghol: had a great start to the season but lacked concentration. Well done on a good year. Taimor Seghol: like his brother had a great start to the season with the bat but finished great with the ball, well done.
