2003/2004 Report - B2 Grade
The two debutantes shone in their first game, but not with four sixes from one over. Pav with a quickfire 28 no, which should surely enhance his chance of selection in the Czech national team. Matt's contribution to the team from that point on was mainly fiscal (the kitty, the team and opposition batsmen thank him).
Mic worsened his "Little Man's Syndrome" with his failure to clear the boundary throughout the season. Mic also found another way to waste $400 other than the pokies, TAB and Casino when he scored four runs in four innings with his new bat.
Doug's choice of pants and hat showed why you should always have a female present with you when you buy clothes. PS Doug wore a black cardigan to the Presentation Night.
Clangalang caused the team both joy and heartache throughout the season.
Dhiren found a lady friend in Nelson Bay who had more runs on the board than he scored all season.
Swampy spent plenty of time fielding in the covers at Nelson Bay.
Peter Allen travelled from Cronulla each week to talk to his beloved horses on the boundary.
Marty will be supplied with a snorkel next season to fetch his balls from backyard pools.
Hopes are high for next season with Pat Munro returning to the captaincy.
