2004/2005 Report - Under 10 Red
It was an enjoyable season for the team with the majority of the boys playing their first season of modified cricket. We played a total of 11 games and won 6, lost 4 and tied 1, all up a very consistent team performance.
It was great to see the improvement in the all round skills of the boys as the season progressed. A sure indicator of the improvement was the reduction in sundries, especially wides and no balls, from the early games to the later games.
All boys played with enthusiasm and energy and provided good encouragement and support for each other during all the games.
Highlights of the season were 3 wickets to Cody in round 1; scores of 19 by Sumedh and 15 by Cody and 3 wickets to Owen in round 3; 2 wickets and 13 runs to Pavan and 17 runs to Shanan with great catches to Lachlan and Sanju (both taken only centimeters off the ground) in round 11.
Thank you to all the parents for their support during the season and especially to Donna for scoring for most of the season.
