The U 10 White B team had an excellent season, with players showing outstanding commitment. All the players attended training diligently and within a few weeks, the group blended into a fine team determined to play good cricket. We had a good mix of players - some had played under 10 last year, a few players played competitive cricket for the first time and the team included three six year old boys as well. After the first couple of games, boys realised how important it is to score runs while defending wickets and accurate bowling, cutting down wides and no balls. It was a pleasure to see how the boys progressively developed their cricket skills over the season. Players and parents thoroughly enjoyed the season and we would like to thank all the boys for giving us such an enjoyable time. Congratulations to the award winners in the team and undoubtedly all the boys in our team are real champions, who won nine games in the last season. The team would like to sincerely thank Warren Ballard the team manager, who did an outstanding job in scoring and maintaining player statistics. Special thanks to Parween Rudra, Mitchell Smith and Ganeshan Upendran for their help in umpiring duties and assisting in our training sessions.
